Rasheed Robinson

Rasheed Robinson is originally from Richmond, Virginia, where he grew up performing on the stage. He gained an interest in film acting in 2017 but didn't know when to jump into it. 2018 is when he finally decided to jump into it after watching Black Panther and that film really exceeded his expectations. He was actually, planning on starting training for film acting in 2020, but that film inspired him to seek training two years ahead of time. One ironic thing about that is when he found out he was cast in his very first acting role in film, Chadwick Boseman passed away later that night, from the same illness that Rasheed's grandmother passed away from the same year of the first film's release. He was weirded out by it but continued to push through and move forward. But negatives aside, the reason he decided to pursue acting is because he's always had that feeling of euphoria for performing and showing his emotions. He is a very hungry actor who will do whatever it takes to achieve his goals to succeed. Knowing that he could one day share the screen with some of the many talented actors he's seen on Television and Film makes him feel like a kid who walked into Disneyland for the first time. He has received great training from the Margie Haber Acting Studio as well as additional continual training. He has also trained in several types of Martial Arts, Capoeira being a significant one of them. He has over ten years of martial arts experience and does the acrobatic version of capoeira, with the flips and tricks as shown in the media section of his Actors' Access profile. Deciding to pursue a full-time career in acting, Rasheed knew that moving to New York City to begin a professional acting career was the best way to start.
